Wine : Threads of cedar and saffron dance on an opulent perfume of ripe honeydew melon, green apple and Meyer lemon. The palate finds a smooth and gracious sweep of stone fruit, spiced apple and creamy pear flavors. Subtle texture supports the creaminess, providing elegant structure. Citrus highlights wrap the creaminess through a vibrant finish. This wine would be a delightful companion to a spicy Cioppino or a leek and goat cheese tart served with spring greens.

Vineyards : The Napa Valley Chardormay is typically a blend of elements that capture what we believe to be the finest expression of Chardormay fruit from the Napa Valley in any particular vintage. In the different lots that we blended together produced a more fruit-forward version of Napa Valley Chardormay from vineyards located in Cameros and whose cooler conditions tend to produce minerally characteristics typical of classic Burgundian Chablis. A new estate vineyard, located on Big Ranch Road just north of the city of Napa, which has well-drained gravelly loam soil, tends to produce wines that are fleshy and rich. Other vineyards contribute pineapple and citrus notes, balancing the creaminess.
