PEND D'OREILLE WINERY BISTRO ROUGE 2007

Vintage:
The vintage finsihed off with a cool drawn out ripening - just what the winemakers were hoping for following a blistering hot and dry summer. The resluting wine's bold flavors are tempered by the supple tannins smoothed out over 18 months of aging in small French and American barrels.
Vineyards:
The blend for this wine is the who's who of our cellars. We pull alittle from each of our red wines to blend a wine that is "present" in the glass and full on the palate.
Winemaking:
Crushed and fermanted in our usual approach. Aged in newer and up to four year old barrels. Racked 4 times filtered 1 - 2 times- just enough to polish, but not to sterilize the beauty of this wine. Blended with an eye toward creating a beautiful fruit forward table wine that makes a lasting good impression. A reliably fun and interesting pour.
