With a mouthfeel that;s this smooth, with this many layers, we could almost forget to mention its long, toast-meets-red berry finish. Whoops, there we go. Jammy blackberry, brown sugar and chocolate aromas are "so sexy"; the palate echoes the same flavors, but also adds smoke, dried spices and plum to the mix. Reviewers sum it up as a "sexy fleshpot" and "black as night, but done right!"
Owner/winemaker Marty Clubb uses estate fruit from the Oregon side of the Walla Walla Valley to craft this exotic and complex red wine. It shows off earthy and dark fruity aromas with flavors of coffee, bold blackberry fruit and hints of chocolate and mint on the finish. Won Best of Show at the Northwest Wine Summit and "Outstanding" in Wine Press Northwest's Syrah judging.
