Gewurztraminer has been known in Alsace since the Middle Ages . Gewurztraminer may not be easy to spell, even for wine merchants, but it is blissfully easy to recognize from its heady perfume alone. Deeply colored, opulent aromatic and fuller bodied than almost any other white wine, Gewurztraminer faults are only having too much of everything.
