Bright, green-gold color. A lovely and elegant Carneros Chardonnay that reflects both a long growing season and the benefits derived from new Dijon clones. Pear-honey and Fuji apple fruit aromas are highlighted by subtle cinnamon-vanilla scents from the oak. The flavors combine rich, mineral-infused intensity with a crisp sense of structure, bright fruit, and a creamy texture contributed by the sur lie aging process. Lots of finesse, combined with richness make this a one of BVs finest Chardonnays to date; an ideal companion with pasta in a wild mushroom and leek sauce, or a simple marinated, grilled chicken.
