Barnard Griffin Winery is located in the heart of Washington State's wine country. Richland, one of the Tri-Cities (with Pasco and Kennewick) is situated in south-central Washington at the confluence of the Yakima, Columbia, and Snake rivers.

Founded in 1983 by Rob Griffin and Deborah Barnard, Barnard Griffin has been producing Award Winning wines for over 20 years.

This is a tasty red wine sampler from Barnard Griffin. The Cabernet was rated (88) by the Wine Spectator and the Syrah and Merlot both "Recommended" by Wine Press Northwest. A great way to taste some different reds from one of Washington's best wineries.
I have always believed that the Syrah grape from the Columbia Valley would make a great Port wine. We have great concentration of flavors and richness in our primary Syrah vineyard; Desert Air, and with good ripeness these qualities can be used to make a great Washington State Port.
